Skills Coach Christine Green
Christine explains how she helps individuals personally and professionally:
I serve as a coach and consultant with a skills-based approach. I focus on your needs which means that my style is sometimes directive. However, it’s inviting rather than demanding and offers alternative perspectives and resources that are new to clients.
Working for years with those seeking success in their business or personal life, I find that clients benefit most when coached to strengthen essential life skills. The skills that are often undervalued and misunderstood. Skills that are are often not formally taught to children.
I coach clients to develop the relational skills necessary for personal and business effectiveness. Lives are transformed by simply improving skills in assertiveness, personal boundaries, emotional management and conflict resolution.
I help clients develop their self-awareness. Increasing awareness helps them decrease misunderstandings. I also train them in transformative communication techniques.
I’ve written skills-building articles that offer support material for coaching sessions. They are linked on my relational and procedural skills website.
As a trained professional coach, with a psychology background and clinical experience, I bring a unique perspective, practical advice, and gentle guidance for creative solutions.
While I have a wild creative streak and usually come up with the approach less traveled, my coaching is effective for those who have gone the traditional route in education, business, and life – they thrive in the fertile soil of an expanded perspective.
Professional coaches are a dime-a-dozen. You’ll have no trouble finding one with a more traditional approach. But for a comprehensive skills-based approach that can help you develop new practical competencies, I might be your ideal guide.
Do you like innovative thinking, alternative points of view, resources for things you never knew existed, and problem solving, all wrapped up in a great sense of humor? If so I might be the Coach for you.
